Common questions

What to know before you begin.

Do you accept insurance?+

Programs are offered on a self-pay basis. HSA and FSA cards may be used for eligible services, and superbills can be provided for you to submit to your insurer. Coverage and reimbursement depend on your plan.

Are GLP-1 medications safe?+

They can be safe and effective for appropriate patients. Your physician reviews your history, medications, labs, and contraindications before prescribing, then monitors response and side effects throughout care.

How often will I have visits?+

Most patients begin with weekly visits for monitoring, dose adjustments, and InBody scans. Once stable, follow-ups may move to every 2-4 weeks.

Is telehealth available?+

Yes. Follow-up appointments may be available by telehealth when clinically appropriate. Initial evaluations and services requiring an in-office assessment take place in Cherry Hill.

When should I expect results?+

Immediately!  Most patients notice appetite changes within the first week and more meaningful changes by six to eight weeks. Timing varies by treatment response, health history, and consistency.

Prescription treatments require a medical evaluation and are prescribed only when clinically appropriate. Individual results vary. Your provider will discuss potential benefits, risks, and alternatives with you.
